That’s also why life is so incredible! It’s unpredictable, exciting, extraordinary and entirely beautiful.
Life can be overwhelming.. Yes.
But does it help if I say there are no “wrong” choices?
Because absolutely everything you do, pushes you in the right direction.. It either progresses you further or constantly moves and edges you toward another choice/situation/decision that WILL push you forward! Some decisions teach and some decisions help you grow - and ALL are better than standing still!
Life isn’t intended to be lived in the past, regret. Nor the future, fear. It’s not about reaching a destination, but rather experimenting and absorbing as much of it as you can!
Sometimes it really helps just to stop, relax, breathe deeply and understand that worry and stress does absolutely nothing in problem resolution. And that deep breathing will also stimulate a state of mindfulness in which you can discover that the present, that exact moment is truly all that ever matters.. Not where you come from, or where you’re going, or even where you should be going or even where you WANT to go. Because ultimately, all we ever really have, is the present moment. And engaging in that, accepting and embracing the present will be one of the greatest things you can ever do.
Try to slow down more often. Breathe. Feel. Just BE.. Forget about time, dates, months etc. stop thinking about the next thing you “need to do”. Stop rushing and enjoy the NOW. Not a second less or more. NOW.
Sometimes life is just so overwhelming. We have to decide what career path, if we'll travel or study after school, who we will decide to love, where we'll live... But maybe I don't want to decide, maybe it's just too hard. What if I decide wrong? What if I don't know how to decide right? What if I could of had a great life if I chose different and now I have a shitty one. Why is it so complicated.
